Aarush turns 3 !!!!

Like most moms I am awestruck to know my little baby is growing up so fast....and his Birthday approacing in a weeks time forces me to admit the truth !

Its makes me feel so happy to see my little boy act all grown up, doing things which I never imagined him to be doing and asking me all sorts of smart questions ...and at the same time I miss him being a baby ...when I could just snuggle him in my arms and make him all mine...his lazy sweet smiling face....his tiny soft feet n hands...no complains or demands...just simple baby pleasure :)



I will always cherish the moment I first saw him.....our little hairy bundle of joy...he was just the way I always imagined him to be....perfect !

From then on our lives have never been the same...he sure keeps us amused, engaged, entertained and tired but always wanting more of him. Aarush @ 3 months.....all set to take down the cake :)

He has always been a charmer and a complete extrovert, loves having people around him and with his ever smiling face and non-stop activities he sure knows how to get attention....Aaru @ 6 months.

He loves being outdoors....one of his very first words were "Karp"...meaning Park. Aarush @ 9 months strolling through the park ...

Aaru has such thick black silky curls....he was so often thought of as a girl....wearing boys clothes :) Aaru a yr old in piggy tails :)

Aarush like most kids is obsessed with sports and cant have enough of it....our little champ @ 18 months all set to play wearing his Daddy's cap :)

Aaru is a very independent but an affectionate kid. He loves playing puzzles and blocks ...enjoys dancing and singing his favorite music...a clean freak and Mommy's little helper @ 2.

He has a witty sense of humor like his pappa.... When I raise my voice to get him to do something, he calmly responds "Mommy don't scare me" n I go short of words :) Aaru loves the movie 3 Idiots and enjoys the song "All is Well". The other day we were watching a emotional scene from the movie Dhobi Ghat and aaru goes...mamee...All is Well is crying....n we couldn't stop laughing :) Here is Aaru @ 2 1/2 ...my little stress buster :)

I cannot imagine how fast time has gone by post Aarush....from baby to toddler, he has shown various qualities , some of which I'm very proud n happy and some I am not so excited about. He is very particular about what he wears, any amount of soft talk or shrills wont change him... I have tried it all n left it to his choice.

He is a perfectionist....he's got to be right all the time....this is really hard coz he is still learning....every time he does something wrong he gets so upset and wants to do it from start all over again.....like reading book, building puzzle....only time will say how this will influence him....all I can do is , make him understand doing mistakes is fine.....as long as you learn from it and move on :)

I as a kid remember doing things because I was scared...I did not want mom to scold/spank me. Its just not so with Aaru....believe me I have tried several times and failed....when I scold or pat him to make him do things he gets even more stubborn....but when I sit him down and talk to him lovingly....he gladly agrees :) When I'm really upset with him....he knows and begs to be hugged and only then will he feel better. He is a very emotional kiddo....makes my heart melt.....but being a mom is not all about hugs n kisses....u gotta do what u gotta do !

Of all the various milestones he has bygone this year potty training being the top runner, can’t even be compared to how happy and blessed he makes us feel every time he says "I Love You" to mommy n daddy....so many times in the day.

B'day Note : He has a love for Spiderman. When he meets new friends he is so excited to show his spiderman and enact him jumping n flying.....and weaves a story around his actions.....I think I know exactly what he would like for his B'day this year..... ;) Best of all Grandma is visiting us to celebrate his B'day ....so loads of love,pampering,yummy food and surprises in store :)
